In the event of an auto insurance claim:
- Remain calm – slow down your breathing
- If possible, move your vehicle out of harm’s way
- Make sure everyone is ok in your car & other cars and call the Police, dial 911
- If someone else is involved, exchange information. Including: Name, Address and Contact Information, License Number, and Insurance Information
- Gather Witness information- names and phone numbers
- From a safe distance, photograph any damage
- Don’t offer an opinion regarding who was at fault for the accident

- Discuss the accident details only with the police and your insurance agent
- Don’t leave the scene until instructed by the police
