Coverages Offer
Liability
liability covers injuries sustained to others, caused by the insured person while operating the vehicle. It also covers damages caused to someone else’s property by the policy holder while operating the vehicle.
Uninsured Motorist
covers medical treatment for you and your passengers in the event of a collision with an uninsured driver. For example, if you were rear ended and the driver who caused the collision was not insured, your policy would cover the medical costs for you and your passengers.
Underinsured Motorist
this covers medical treatment for injuries sustained in your vehicle in the event a motorist causes an accident and has insufficient coverage to pay for all related medical expenses. In Wisconsin, the minimum coverage is $25,000 each person, $50,000 for each occurrence and $10,000 property damage. If the injuries sustained were greater than $50,000, the remainder would be covered under your insurance to cover the additional costs if you had coverage that was greater than $50,000.
Collision
covers expenses to the policyholder for damage or destruction incurred as a result of an accident with another vehicle.
